I've seen those, I believe they cast the electronics into the resin. Not something I'd be able to do here unfortunately

Joe, Article's writer seems to confuse matters with stating to use illogical usage of terminology, but then doesn't. Transparent is transparent, like looking through glass window; and translucent is translucent, like looking through a glass filled with red wine and seeing red hue. Can't ever mix the two terms. Yet to see anyone produce even a "translucent" 3d printed part. Had a feeling there be post-conditioning, after printing out.. on transparency parts. Sounds very much like working with cut/ shaped plexiglas ...which is resin based.
Should you ever pursue creating a transparent article, ....best to do a "limited run" of the article, create a number of copies ...and end it. Considering of how much pre- & post- work would be needed on a per piece basis.
